The software on the Kobold VR200 is constantly evolving and being optimized by the Vorwerk engineers. Download the latest version and install it on the robot as explained below.

What version do I currently have?

To determine what version of the software you currently have on your VR200 robot vaccum cleaner, follow the step by step guide below:

Choose "info" in the main menu of your robot vacuum cleaner
Select "Revision"
The second line (SW ver) shows the current version (the example shown above is the version 1.4.20)

What you will need

A USB stick
A Kobold USB adaptor (not provided with the robot, you can purchase it here)

How to install the update

Before starting the software update, switch the Kobold VR200 off and reboot it.
Take an empty USB stick
Download the latest version of the software, save it/unzip it on your computer
Save the file "Robot Data" on your USB stick
Under the lid of your robot vacuum cleaner you will find a USB port. Remove the small plastic cap.
Plug the adaptor in the USB port and then plug the USB stick into the adaptor
Start the software update
