Our Commitment / Vorwerk Family Fund
We want to play a part in ensuring that children all over the world can grow up in the care of a family. This is why we created the Vorwerk Family Fund to collect donations worldwide. Vorwerk employees, sales advisers and the Executive Board have shown their commitment to this cause by raising funds since 2003 totalling €500,000. This money went towards building three houses in the SOS Children’s Village in Hyderabad and two houses in the SOS Children’s Village MoÃn in Costa Rica. Moreover, we were able to provide support for the children living in Vorwerk houses in Hyderabad up until the end of 2005. Since the beginning of 2006, the village has financed itself – mostly through local donations.
Plans are currently under way for a new project in collaboration with SOS Children’s Villages. More news will follow shortly.
